About
On skis since the age of 9, Bernard has always loved this winter sport.
Bernard joined the ski universe 47 years ago. According to him, the best way to teach starts with an assessment in order to offer the best process possible depending on the student. To do so, his teaching is based on an adaptation of its approach as accurate as possible while taking into account efficiency and performance for continuous progress.
Bernard worked as a coach and a technical manager for the International Ski Federation for over 20 years, this is thanks to this job that he discovered Tignes since the resort was the permanent training centre. Nowadays, he works as an instructor in the ESF of Tignes Val Claret, he affirms that here you will find the best teaching method for the French ski.
A competitor at heart, Bernard participated in its first French championship in 1966. He then coached skiers for national and international competitions. Outside the slopes, he worked as a PE teacher up until 2015.
Ski lover, he skied down the slopes of Canada, the United States, Switzerland, Italy, Czechoslovakia as well as Austria, many travels from which he retains unforgettable memories.
One of his best teaching memory is to have accompanied beginners for a week and skiing down a black slope at the end of it.
