Claude first went to the resort of Tignes Val Claret when he passed his instructor diploma, his emotional attachment to the resort made him want to teach ski there.
Claude was born in the Juras and has been skiing since the youngest of age. For 30 seasons, he guides his clients along the slopes he knows by heart, especially the Genepy which is his favourite, as well as off-piste trails.
Several reasons helped him become a ski instructor such as his passion for winter sports, the need to live in the mountains and, mainly, teaching. To progress in a quick and efficient way, Claude based his pedagogy on the discovery and natural evolution in the mountain. Moreover, for him, the ESF is a reference in terms of ski schools.
This passionate of skiing spent several years competing and has been in the Top 10 of slalom and “Géant” races. Apart from skiing, Claude works as an electrical engineer and loves mountain biking, playing golf and sailing. He also had to chance to ski in Italy, Switzerland and Austria!
What he loves most about his profession is to be able to create a group spirit with a desire for emulation.
