It is mainly to satisfy his passion for winter sports that Gauthier oriented himself towards instructorship. To teach in ideal conditions, Gauthier relies everything on his patience and his pedagogical side. If you want to improve, he’ll teach you the necessary techniques, but if you simply wish to discover the beautiful domain of Tignes, he will know how to adapt to your desires.

Born in the resort, he grew up on the slopes of Tignes, he was thus normal for him to work for the ESF of his hometown. The ESF conveys familial and convivial values, for him, it is a school that loves to share its experience since forever. 

Just like every good self-respecting skier, Gauthier participated in a few regional races. Gauthier enjoys physical activities, that is why he also goes trampolining and skateboarding. When he is not teaching you how to master turns, Gauthier works as an electrician. This job allows him to fully appreciate the different seasons.

For off-piste outings, Gauthier had the chance of skiing in Italy!

His favourite slopes are the SIlène and the Vallée Perdue. What he mainly retains from these three years of instructorship is the friendliness of adult groups.
