For Julien, becoming a ski instructor in the ESF of Tignes Val Claret was obvious since his grandfather was an instructor of the resort who used to often take Julien there. If you ask Julien what are the values of the ESF, he will answer the pleasure of skiing and benevolence. In order to teach you at best, Julien ensures that his lessons are as fun as possible so that the learning process does not become stressful. 

Skiing is important for him due to the freedom it brings and the peaceful environment it involves. Julien’s practice is very laid-back and he takes pleasure in skiing effortlessly. 

Outside of slopes, Julien works in the building industry, a job that makes it possible for him to never be bored of winter sports. His hobbies include all sliding sports such as surf, funboard, wakeboard and many more! 

His best teaching memory is the moment he spent with a student with a disability during a handiski session. His favourite slope is the Troll and his favourite spots are the Balmes and Chardonnet.
