Instructor for 22 seasons and originally from Bourg-en-Bresse, Norbert chose this job for his teaching passion.
Teaching ski is very important for Nobert. This is why he based his pedagogical approach on the close proximity with the specific needs of each student and the adaptation of the activity in all domains according to the student’s requests.
Norbert started skiing at 2 and a half years old in Chartreuse. His parents were both managers of a holiday centre and this is why he tasted the pleasure of skiing so young. Since he has put on his first skis, his practice has evolved significantly. Indeed, after exploring all the possibilities in ski and snowboard, Norbert focused on his teaching method and the development of his expertise to satisfy his clients.
Norbert as first discovered the resort thanks to the Club Med in 1996. Since then, he does everything he can to make students enjoy the resort and want to come back. To him, the ESF conveys an image of professionalism associated with smiles and happy mood.
When he is not on the slopes, Norbert is the co-manager of a PlayBike company.
Norbert believes he has too many memories to rank them but he still mentioned the lessons with the “Snowflake” children and the snowboard off-piste session with a student he has known for 10 years. For him, the secret to fighting routine is the variety.
His favourite slopes are the Rabotch and Grapillon des Merles.
