Serge did his first descent at the age of 12. The sensations provided seduced him right away despite the difficulties at the time. Those are his passions for mountains and teaching that pushed him to be trained and become a ski instructor. If he has chosen the resort of Tignes Val Claret, it’s simply because he has been living there for 42 years and has taught in the Club Med before joining the ESF. Since then, Serge teaches ski with significant educative values and respect. To him, the ESF is a spirit combining independence and collectivity. 

Concerning his practice, Serge mentions certain osmosis with the elements. A great lover of this sport, he has participated in slalom and artistic ski competitions of which he was in the french top 10. In addition to ski, Serge enjoys trekking, canoeing and swimming. 

His best teaching memories are the children’s lessons when the equipment was far more rudimentary. His favourite slopes are the Génépi, Petite Balme and Vallons de la Sache.
