Frequently asked questions
Do I need a ski pass for ski touring?
Most of the time we'll use the ski lifts to get to the foot of the trail, but not always. The need for a ski pass should be discussed directly with the instructor, depending on the programme.
I have my own ski equipment. Do I need to hire special equipment for ski touring?
Ski touring requires specific, high-quality equipment. You'll need off-piste skis with touring bindings, and the lightest possible boots with a 'walk' function for greater comfort on the ascent. Wearing a helmet is also highly recommended. Safety equipment is provided and included in the price of your lesson.
What if the weather is too poor?
Depending on availability, your instructor may be able to suggest another itinerary or a postponement.
